At the end of the first day of BlechExpo 2023 in Stuttgart, the best awards were presented in five different categories.
The new "High Performance Friction Stir Seam" welding process developed by the KERN-LIEBERS R&D team impressed the expert jury and took second place in the "Joining, Separation and Connection Technology" category.
This low-heat welding process in combination with a sustainable coating process is particularly suitable for the production of dissimilar joints in the field of electromobility and power electronics.
