The KERN-LIEBERS Group of Companies, headquartered in Schramberg, acquired all shares of Michigan Spring and Stamping, LLC situated in Muskegon, Michigan in the Unites States of America. Michigan Spring and Stamping was part of the Hines Corporation since 2008. Michigan Spring and Stamping, LCC will thus become a member of KERN-LIEBERS North America within the globally operating KERN-LIEBERS Group of Companies.

Michigan Spring and Stamping, headquartered in Muskegon Michigan, has been a partner with OEM’s for 70-years, specializing in Powertrain and Transmission applications.  Today, the company manufactures a wide range of technical springs, assemblies, precision stampings and wire forms. The company’s clients are from a variety of industries, including medical, automotive, recreation, industrial and more. The high focus on customer relationships of Michigan Spring and Stamping was acknowledged by numerous customers with supplier awards i.e. Ford, GM and others. Michigan Spring and Stamping is headquartered in Muskegon, Michigan and also has operations in El Paso, Texas and Wuxi, China. The three locations with over 170 employees generate a total revenue of 28 Mio. EUR per year. The high technical knowledge of the employees and the company’s own tool manufacturing and automation capabilities are the foundation for solving and producing customer-specific products.

The take-over by the globally operating KERN-LIEBERS group allows Michigan Spring and Stamping to make use of international growth opportunities and will open up new markets.
