This week, a group of students in the 8th grade of the Saint Francis Foundation of Heiligenbronn (the Foundation supports people with sensory disabilities) visited KERN-LIEBERS, to get an impression of the working environment in an industrial plant. Some of visually impaired young people were for the first time in a manufacturing company. Trainees of the 2nd and 3rd year of training at KERN-LIEBERS, guided the visitors and familiarized them with different metal techniques.

With great curiosity and even greater enthusiasm, the students tried various methods such as milling, rolling and polishing and had great joy together and so benefited the trainees of KERN-LIEBERS of the visit too as they were able to train their social skills such as teamwork and communication.
