10/18/2016

On September 29, 2016 altogether 37 trainees and dual students (Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University) celebrated their graduation at KERN-LIEBERS’ premises in Schramberg.

Besides the successful alumni the event was attended by the members of the KERN-LIEBERS management board, the business unit leaders, as well as the plant manager and the workers‘ council.

The opening speech was given by Mr. Andreas Bitzer, training manager at KERN-LIEBERS. This year’s graduates achieved the best grade point average since the beginning of KERN-LIEBERS‘ training program, Bitzer stated proudly. A total of 36 awards and mentions were achieved and almost 95% of all alumni will stay in the company to start their professional career.

CEO Dr. Udo Schnell welcomed the graduates and congratulated on their outstanding results. In a short company presentation he informed about the professional chances and perspectives the KERN-LIEBERS Group has to offer.

It was now time for the official graduation ceremony. The successful technical trainees, dual students and commercial trainees received congratulations and presents from their instructors, as well as from Ms. Teresa Gaulke (trainee manager commercial training) and Mr. Andreas Bitzer, respectively.

Mr. Fred Zehnder, chairman of the workers‘ council, expressed his compliments as well. He also thanked all of KERN-LIEBERS’ trainers for their excellent work: besides the outstanding results, a total of 16 trainees could finish their apprenticeship faster than scheduled (so-called „turbo trainees“).

Finally, in the name of all young workers, Mr. Simon Rebmann, Mr. Philipp Prochatschek and Ms. Teresa Müller thanked the company and their trainers for their coaching and support.

After the official ceremony a small get-together was organized to finish the day in a relaxed atmosphere.
