Wave springs

Wave springs: Perfect function in the smallest space

Wave springs are special spring components that are made from flat material and have a wavy or sinusoidal structure. They are used to absorb axial forces, but require less installation space than conventional spiral springs. The special feature of wave springs is that their spring height can be reduced by up to 50% while maintaining the same spring force and spring travel. This makes the wave spring ideal for very compact installation situations.

We develop and manufacture wave springs that meet your exact requirements - from batch size 1 to large-scale production, transforming your products into smart components, assemblies and devices.

Areas of application

Wave springs: At home in many industries

Our wave springs are used worldwide in the following industries, among others:

  • Automotive
  • electrical engineering
  • precision mechanics
  • building services engineering
  • consumer goods
  • Mechanical and apparatus engineering
  • Medical technology
Executions

Multi-layer wave springs

  • The design of several coils on top of each other allows greater spring travel. This allows the spring to be adapted to the available installation space.

Multi-layer wave springs with parallel ends

  • The flat end coils distribute the spring forces evenly and thus prevent wave heights from pressing into installation parts.

Nested wave springs

  • This special shape is used when higher spring forces with a short working stroke are required.
