Simultaneous engineering

Design for X methods have been one of our core competencies for decades. Naturally, we optimize the functional design in close cooperation with you. When making changes to the product design, for example, we can simulatively test the effects on the component function. With in-depth process expertise, your components can be optimally designed in terms of simplification, manufacturability and durability.

Materials engineering

As a metal processor, material expertise is one of the most important skills for achieving the best product properties and optimizing production processes. Together with our suppliers, we are continuously developing the composition, manufacturing processes and micro-properties of our materials.

Megatrends such as electromobility are constantly generating new requirements for product properties. Here, we focus on translating these challenges into specific material requirements. At the same time, we are also developing new alloys for our and your products in collaboration with research institutes.

Prototype production

KERN LIEBERS has a fully equipped prototype production facility for the manufacture of small and medium series from a quantity of 1. During production, both economic and quality requirements are always our top priority. We develop the prototypes in advance according to your specific requirements.

In our prototype production facility, we are able to manufacture your prototypes close to series production at short notice. Equipped with all standard precision machining processes, such as machining, laser machining, deburring and surface treatment, we are ideally equipped to implement your ideas. We also design customized production processes to implement your product ideas with the highest quality and precision.
